After earning a degree in electrical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Doug Pickering operated in various capacities in private and publicly held operating, engineering, and construction companies, gaining experience in industrial, power, chemical, and renewable energy areas. With over $14B in delivered asset value he has in-depth knowledge of EPC operations coordination, project management, project controls, systems engineering, constructability and life-cycle cost analysis, risk management, asset valuation, energy market analysis, contracting strategy development and negotiation, procurement management, engineering management, construction management, and commissioning. Mr. Pickering is also a principal with Nomad Infrastructure, one of Evolution Hydrogen’s principal partners and the project manager. Prior to founding Nomad, he led many successful large capital projects as either a project manager, director, or joint venture leader, as well as the division leadership of various companies in the power, renewable, and heavy industrial business segments. Over his career he has led integrated construction management teams involving the management of complex, multi-billion-dollar energy projects from planning through engineering and design, and then construction to successful commissioning and operation.

Tom is an experienced Project Manager with engineering design, construction field, and commissioning experience during all phases of capital projects in the power industry. Tom has successfully performed in leadership roles from concept to closeout of multiple projects, including thermal system analysis and project development for a range of power generation and bioenergy technologies.

She has served as a General Manager with P&L responsibility across the waste to energy, electric generation, renewables, energy storage, natural gas, fuels, and energy trading sectors and has broad exposure to the developing CCUS and green/blue hydrogen industries. She serves on the boards of Gen2 LLC, a waste to energy company, and Cambree Corp, a real estate development and senior care management company. For the past 20 years she has been actively involved in the development and commercialization of new technologies in waste to energy, energy storage, and hydrogen as well as the development, construction, management and optimization of traditional energy assets.
